The Stolen is a dynamic musical group hailing from New Jersey

Cleveland photographers had the pleasure of watching the exciting new band The Stolen perform in Kent, OH.

Formed by four gifted musicians from Old Bridge, NJ, The Stolen is a Pop Rock/Alternative band known for their sound reminiscent of The 1975 and The Maine. The lineup includes vocalist Dom Cuse, guitarist/vocalist Rob Chiarappa, bass guitarist Kevin Smart, and drummer Mike Chiarappa.

The band originated in New Jersey in 2005, beginning with cover songs from iconic bands like AC/DC and Green Day, infusing them with their unique style. By 2009, they transitioned to writing original music and gained traction touring as the opening act for Neon Trees and the All-American Rejects, expanding their fan base nationwide.

The Stolen has collaborated with esteemed figures in the music industry. Their 2015 track “Chardonnay,” produced by Paul Leavitt of All Time Low, highlights this partnership. Additionally, guitarist Rob Chiarappa collaborated with Mike Oettinger from Man Overboard to record the album I’m So Dead, which was mastered by Grammy-nominated engineer Robin Schmidt, known for his work with The 1975 and Mumford & Sons.

Cleveland band photographers documented The Stolen during their recent summer tour as headliners, featuring artists like “The Voice” contestant Mike Schiavo and Marissa Viscomi. The tour also surprised attendees with an exceptional performance in Philadelphia, bringing along several local bands to join in the excitement.

The Stolen will be returning to the Cleveland area this November for a fall tour alongside The Millennium, 4 Door Theatre, and Bonfires. They are set to perform at The Foundry in Lakewood on November 6th, 2017, at 6pm. Michaelangelo's Photography & Video will be on-site to capture the high-energy performance and vibrant crowd.

Unfortunately, there won’t be another stop in Cleveland this year.
